Sprints & Tasks
Manage goal-based sprints and track task execution.
What is a Sprint?
A sprint in Codemus is goal-based, not time-boxed. You define:
- Sprint Goal: What you want to achieve
- Selected Items: Backlog items to complete
- Definition of Done: Criteria for completion
Creating a Sprint
Navigate to Sprints and click "Create Sprint". The PM Agent can propose sprints based on your backlog, or you can create them manually.
Once created, you can start the sprint to begin execution.
Task Execution
When a sprint is active:
- The PM Agent decomposes backlog items into tasks
- Tasks are assigned to appropriate specialists
- Specialists execute tasks and return artifacts
- You can review artifacts and request revisions
Sprint Conversations
Click the sprint header to chat with the PM about:
- Overall sprint status
- Blockers and impediments
- Progress updates
Task Conversations
Click individual tasks to have focused conversations with the PM about:
- Task implementation details
- Progress and status
- Clarifications and questions
Each task conversation is persisted and linked to the backlog item.
